Collection and publication of manuscripts |
| |
|
| |
The collection and publication of manuscripts is the chief objective of the Academy. For this purpose, a team has been put in place for the collection of manuscripts from various regions. The team will consist of 5 members from the Garhwal segment and 5 from the Kumaon segment. A time deadline will also be set of this team. The manuscripts collected by the team will be published. The coordinators of the teams will be paid in two installments - first as an advance and the second when the work is over. |

|
| |
The publication committee in consultation with ancient historians will decide upon the decision regarding the cost of manuscript collection. |
| |
|
| |
The initial step has been taken towards the collection of ancient manuscripts and other rare treatises by placing advertisements and sending letters to the concerned people. |
